Hello Ciaran,

On Goldcoast Fysio I'm using HTML in the J51 Layer Slideshow as you can see on the homepage (linebreaks amd orange button).
I've made a copy of this site where I tried to change the text. But when I save it the HTML gets stripped and is gone. I tried several things but nothing helps. Can you please have a look? Thanks!

Hello

To amend try using the CodeMirror editor when editing your module. Some WYSIWYG editors will strip HTML tags on save depending on editor settings.

Hello Ciaran,

Unfortunately this doesn't make any difference.
I tried it with Codemirror and without editor but this doesn't help.
Greetings Ton.

Hello Ciaran,

now the same problem appears in another testsite but now it affects the Icons Module.
Yesterday I used "<br />" in the Icon Title, today this is automatically removed when I save the module.
I also tried a solution JoomlaShack came up with, but this als didn't help.
Can it be a browser thing or the Joomla update?
Thanks!

Hello

Try replacing the following in ../modules/mod_j51layerslideshow/elements/slideshow.xml (line 4 & 5)...

<field name="j51_slidetitle" type="text" default="" label="Slide Title" description="Set your slide title" />
<field name="j51_slidecaption" type="textarea" default="" label="Slide Caption" description="Set your slide caption" />

With...

<field name="j51_slidetitle" filter ="raw" type="text" default="" label="Slide Title" description="Set your slide title" />
<field name="j51_slidecaption" filter ="raw" type="textarea" default="" label="Slide Caption" description="Set your slide caption" />

Hello Ciaran,

Thanks! This works fine for the J51 Layerslideshow.
I also tried to achieve this for the J51 Icons extension but no luck here.
On which file (and line) I have to make the changes?
Thanks!

Hello

The XML for the title and caption field of each icon can be found at ../modules/mod_j51icons/field/item.xml (LINE 20 & 21). To amend add filter="raw" to each.
