Not showing characters like äöü despite UTF-8

Hi there

We have bought the "arabic" template of Joomla51. Unfortunately special characters like äöü (Umlauts) are not showing on our page, despite UTF-8.

The language files are GB-en. Do we have to install other language files? Are there any other than GB-en available at all?

The special characters are showing in other installed modules (like yoo_recepie etc.).

Hi

Try adding the following directly after defined('_JEXEC') or die; in the head of your templates index.php (../templates/j51_arabica/index.php)

header("Content-Type: text/html; charset=UTF-8", true);
