hi. it seems that the theme does not work as it should.... The slider is under the header.

Hello

This is actually by design however the option is available to disable it. Navigate to your LayerSlideshow module settings (Extensions -> Module Manager -> [YourLayerSlideshowModule]) and in the Settings tab set the Overlap Header if in showcase-1# module position option to No.
