Willow footer menu issues

Hello, I am having an issue on the Willow template on J4.4. I have assigned the footer menu to my main menu.
It shows up ok but the only item that's active is the Home item. All of the other items highlight on mouseover but there's no embedded link.
Making the footer menu into a module didn't work. It caused every menu item to cram into the footer position .

Anyone have thoughts?

Your menu appears to mainly consist of separator menu types that do not include a URL. Try creating a second menu where the parent items are the links and not their children as you have in the main menu. You can then assign this second menu to the footer.
