hello there,
i have to admit that im a bigenner. :(
i bought Virtuoso few days ago, installed it, installed joomla 3.2.2 seperately, but i cant find the template from joomla administrator kit! i checked in the database documents all is there. how can i do to have my template in place and in the same structure as it is on your live demo?

Hello

To create a copy of the template demo (http://demo.joomla51.com/0108/) you can use the 'Demo Installer' included with your download. This demo installer is a standard copy of Joomla with the templates demo content included as the 'Sample Data'. An option to install the sample data can be found on the 3rd step of your Joomla installation.

Everything you need to know on installing Joomla you should be able to find in the following online tutorial... http://docs.joomla.org/J3.1:Installing_Joomla. Follow the steps detailed in this tutorial along with the demo installer included with your download.

Ensure to select 'Default English (GB) Sample Data' under 'Install Sample Data' on the 3rd step of
your Joomla installation to import the demo content for your template.

thanks alot, i did and it worked fine. in the installation, i had to creat configuration.php file and made it to 0777. then i createad a .htaccess and typed ( php_flag display_errors off) that helped to install the demo template.
apparently, the demo is in j3.2.1 and now the system is proposing me to update to 3.2.2. but it doesnt work! it shows the error ( 0 Cannot open file for writing log) as print screen here. and also, i cant upload and language ( french and arcbic) to the vertuoso template! do you think it has got something to do with the configurations i made? do you think my service provider can help or you can help? thanks

Hello

I believe that your will have the very same issue with every file until you ask your host to change the way your php scripts are executed. Right now, php scripts are executed under your web server account resulting in the web server not having write permission on your files and folders. PHP scripts should be executed under your hosting account.

Your service provider should be able to amend this issue for you.
