Hello

Sorry to say at present the only template we have available with a background video option is our Boutique template which allows for Youtubes... http://www.joomla51.com/joomla-templates/j51-boutique

At present we have no immediate plans of adding this feature.

is it possible to incorporate this feature, (this module?) into a different one of your (beautiful) templates?

Hello

Sorry to say our Boutique template does not allow for loop youtube videos.

Some of our more recent Joomla templates (Boutique inlcuded) use the Vegas Background script which does allow background videos (http://vegas.jaysalvat.com/documentation/settings/#videos).

The vegas script is been called by your templates scripts.php (../templates/[YourTemplate).

You will need a little knowledge on setting jQuery scripts however if this is not the case there is a number background video extensions available over at the Joomla JED.. http://extensions.joomla.org/

What I did was loop the video before I uploaded it to youtube..

I am however having a small problem with the video background in that, the video says in the foreground when we scroll down the page and the video does not scroll up

any suggestions?

HI Patrick

To amend try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters...

#bgvid {
position: absolute;
}
