Hi,

Is there a way to remove the FontAwesome tags from classes from the footermenu <a> tags? It would have to be php since there is no way for css to restore the default values. Perhaps this could happen in the footermenu section of templates/j51_verona/inc/variables.php.

For the benefit of others that may search these forums:

Also, fontawesome.css, line 16 wipes out the templates menu font in both the hornav and footermenu. I changed the class to from fa to fa:before and it seems to work well.

I don't want FontAwesome icons in the footermenu but in order to make them look right I had to add the following to the template custom css:
#container_base [class^="fa-"]::before, #container_base [class*=" fa-"]::before {top: 6px;left: 12px;}

Hello

Would you have a URL to an example of your footer menu?

Thank you

To amend try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters (Extensions -> Templates -> [YourTemplateStyle] -> Custom CSS)...

#footermenu a::before {
display: none;
}
#footermenu .menu li a[class^="fa-"],
#footermenu .menu li a[class*=" fa-"] {
padding-left: 10px !important;
}
