Updating old template

Hi, long time no see. Back in 2018 I bought the Kinvara template and made a website. The last time that I updated the Joomla was at 3.10. I now need to make a few changes and I get the notice that I am way behind. It suggest that I update to version 4. Of course my PHP is also behind.

My question is if I update to 4 will my template still work? I assume that if 4 works, then the latest PHP will update too.

Hello

You will fist need to ensure that your server supports the minimum requirements for Joomla 4 so it really depends what version of PHP you are currently running?
