Regretfully I have to modify the template ultralite to enable the front slideshow to show the full picture instead of the way it is now.

Is there an easy fix for this? The user doesn't like the white space where the logo is.

I have tried editing header.jpg to remove the space as described but it didn't work.

Hi Nigel

Try adding the following CSS to the end of your templates template.css (../templates/j51_ultralite/css/template.css)..
#showcase_overlay {background: none;}
This should remove the image currently hovering over your slideshow.

Thank you, I have made this change. However it doesnt seem to have worked. I tried disabling and re-enabling the template. Are there cached files somewhere?

Possibly... you could try hitting CTRL + F5 to do a full refresh on your browser?

Hi Ciaran. I was able to get the site to refresh. However it seems that only the top portion of the overlay is now gone.

Please see the image:

I tried removing that bar so it is no longer a hyper-link with no success.

I have purchased three of your themes so far. I will purchase another in exchange for the help.

Thank you.

Hi Nigel

What height would you like your slideshow? What height is your slideshow image?

Sorry for the long delay. My slideshow is 885 x 235 which is the same size as the image.

To extend the height of your slideshow area to match your slide image try adding the following to the end of your templates template.css...
#showcase {height: 235px;}
