Hi guys,

I want to ask you, if it is possible to make a slider tranparent ? I want to show in front of the background image some information with the slider.
For example I am thinking of the J51 slider in relation to the classic template or enlighten .

Thank you for your efforts in advance

Best wishes
Bernhard

Hi Bernhard

I am not sure if I understand you correctly. You wish to use transparent images (PNG) in your slideshow? Maybe make the background of the slider transparent? Would you have a URL to an example of your slider?

Hi Bernhard

This would vary depending on which template you are using? Would you have a URL to an example of your slideshow? The name of the template you are using?

Hi Ciarán ,
I want to make a side like this one http://unfallgutachten.com/ , because a friend of mine loves the transparency of it.

I try to do it, using the template " enlighten " and this is my result. http://sv-khaled.traumfabrik-lammert.de/ . Im not ready yet, but I think, it will work.
In between times I thought it was easier for me to use your slider, when it will be possible to make the slider tranparent like the maincontent for example by css
#container_main .wrapper960 {
background: none repeat scroll 0 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);
}
You gave this hint to a guy in ths forum and it still works.
I thought, if you can bring transparency to the main content, you can do it on the same way to the slider.
But you gave me the hint, that i can produce the transparency for the slider using photoshop and png`s. Yes it will works.
Actually I'm satisfied with the result , but now i have another question. Using template " enlighten " there is a stripe at the bottom of the side in the colour of the background , when the main content isn´t large enough, For example menu point Punkt 4
What do I wrong in the index tab " style".
I hope, you will understand me (because of my very bad english ).
Thank You very much for helping me
best regards
Bernhard

Hi Bernhard

This can happen when there is not enough content on a page to fill the screen. To resolve try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters...

#body_bg {
min-height: 100vh;
}
