Text Overlay Slideshow Image Privilege

Hello Ciaran,

Realizing Privilege was developed a few years ago I'm uncertain if there is a way for me to add text overlay the slideshow image? I realize I can use z-index, but I don't know where to start. Should I re-position one of the modules. I thought about using a second showcase, but that's not possible. I read another post that there is a Joomla extension but I can't find it. Any ideas re: css code, etc. Thanks

Hello

With more recent template releases, the slideshow with overlaying text is created using a module extension. You could try this same module extension with the Privilege (attached - not tested).

You are great! It works fabulously.. THANKS.. I have a couple more questions hoping I can improve ..

1) Privilege template shows the menu header and logo over the slideshow module, but I can't seem to make this happen. The layerslideshow appears over, but it also occurs when I just use the showcase position without the slider. I have tried z-index: -20.. and 20; I can't figure out which element to apply this css code to.

2) I'm using this as intro paragraph (maybe) is there a more button just in case I decide to limit the number of text I want to use?

So I was just going to let you know that for some reason I got it to work with z-index: -20; I think I kept putting 20px instead and that's why it would not work. OK, I'm sure I'll be back .. I need to stop procrastinating with Privilege as I see I'm missing out on so many new designs. Thanks
