1. EMAIL - I sent these questions by email, but never got a response. Are you not providing support by email anymore? This was a crucial resource previously, when I first integrated your templates into a number of my sites.
2. TEMPLATE UPDATES - I renewed my membership so I could update the templates I used before - particularly, to make the sites responsive (which they haven't been on the old templates.) When I do this update, will the template retain my prior customizations? (tagline, logo, custom CSS, etc?) Or will this need to be programmed in manually all over again?
3. EXTENSION USABILITY WITHIN JOOM51 TEMPLATES. I believe you told me before that any of the Joomla51 extensions work with any of the Joomla51 templates - even if the template doesn't come loaded with that particular extension. True/False?
4. EXTENSION USABILITY BEYOND JOOMLA51 TEMPLATES. Beyond that, can the extensions be used with Joomla templates that aren't Joomla51? Particularly the Testimonials extension? I'd love to use that also on a few of my other sites, which use other templates designed to work optimally with Hikashop (my shopping cart) or a page-builder extension my most recent designer opted for. Can I use the Testimonials extension or other extension with these other non Joomla 51 templates? Or are they exculsively to be used within the environment of Joomla51 templates?

I'd appreciate a response ASAP, as I've already waited several days for a response to my prior email, and am waiting to start plugging in these new extensions and templates. Thanks - Carrie Wrigley

Hi Carrie

1. We replied to your email on the 1st of April. Was this the email you are referring to? If yes, please check your spam folder.

2. As mentioned in the reply, I believe each of these templates have been responsive since their initial release, so updating these templates may not fix any issues. Would you have a URL to an example of these sites so I can examine any responsive issues?

3. This should be true, although not fully tested. If you encounter any issues please let us know and we will examine the issue further.

4. Yes, all extensions should work on non Joomla51 templates without any issues. Likewise, if you encounter any issues please let us know and we will examine the issue further.

Thanks for your reply. I did receive this forum response in my gmail, but hadn't received your other emails (other than the promos.) Sure enough, I found the missing emails in the Spam folder, as suggested here.I marked the emails as "Non-Spam," and gmail then moved them all to my Inbox.

This issue is now resolved - thank you for this, and the guidance on the other matters mentioned here. :D

I had hoped this was resolved, and sent a followup email to you with some more specific questions about template implementation. However, it's been 23 hours now without a reply - which is longer than the turnaround I've experienced in the past - so with the prior email disruption I'm nervous. I have the day off today, and was hoping to spend much of it implementing these templates more fully - but need the requested info from you, to do so effectively.

Can you please verify if you got this subsequent email from me, and/or when I might anticipate a response from you, to the questions asked there?

Hi Carrie

A reply has been sent to your email. I will epeat that reply here...

1. Presuming the update did not fix the original responsive issue that you are having, could you please detail for me the issue you are having on smaller screen devices? I notice your site homepage is using a table which by default is not responsive and are generally best avoided if responsive is a concern.

2. I would always recommend installing the latest download to your template. It will not make a major difference but occasionally these templates may have been updated with small fixes. For information on updating templates, please read the following... https://joomla51.com/tutorials/joomla-basics/updating-your-joomla-template

3. To ensure that the slideshow is displayed 100% width on all screen sizes, try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters (Extensions -> Template Manager -> YourTemplate -> Custom CSS)...

#container_slideshow .wrapper960,
#slides > div,
.slidesjs-control {
width: 100% !important;
}
