Hello,

Just to let you know that I have found the answers to 3 of my questions in your forum, so I am left with only 4 questions (below), for which I can't find answers...

Thank you
Stephanie

Hello,

I have purchased the substance template, it's great, I am doing my site (http://www.johannemarois.co.uk) but I need to do a few changes, I have tried to do this myself but lack of knowledge... I don't know where exactly I have to change things wihtout messing the whole template... :
1- I need to add more space on top (right now the logo is much too close to the top page), how can I add about 50px of space?
2 - The main nav bar (home,...) is too far from the line underneath, can I decrease the size of that space?
3- I do not want the highlited box around the menu when selected (box around the Home button), can I remove it?
6- Bottom of the page: I don't want any color there and no footer menu, just the copyright to appear on white background, how can I do this?

Thank you very much in advance,
Stephanie

Hi Stephanie

1. The positioning of your logo can be edited via your templates parameters (Extensions -> Template Manager -> J51_Substance -> Logo -> Y Positioning (eg. 30).

2. Would you like to move the top menu down or move the rest of your content up?

3. Try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters...
#hornav li.active > a {
background: none repeat scroll 0 0 transparent;
border: medium none;
box-shadow: none;
}
4.Try also adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters..
#container_base, #container_copyright {
background: none repeat scroll 0 0 transparent;
}
Hello Ciaran,

Thank you so much for your help, it all worked perfectly! Now for my question about the top menu, I want it to be moved down for about 30px.

Thank you again!

Hello Ciaran,

I have a few more requests, I am sorry for that...:
- I need the arrows on the side of the Auston slider to be smaller
- The copyright to be move up
- On top of the page there is a fine line (under the navigation bar) and I need the exact same line at the bottom of the page, is this possible?

Thank you in advance
Best regards
Stephanie

Hi Stephanie

1. The previous and next slideshow images can be edited directly. You will find them at the following URLs...

http://www.johannemarois.co.uk/modules/mod_AutsonSlideShow/images/prev.png
http://www.johannemarois.co.uk/modules/mod_AutsonSlideShow/images/next.png

2. Try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters..
#container_main, #container_spacer2, #container_base {
display:none;
}
So as not to effect other pages of your template you will need to create a separate style for your homepage in which to add this CSS.

3. Try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters...
#container_copyright .wrapper960 {
border-top: 1px solid #C7C5C1;
}
Hello Ciaran,

Every thing worked well, thank you. Just one thing: the arrows that I have re sized and uploaded are now not equidistant: the left one is fine but the position of the right one is not (there is more space between the right arrow and the right border of the image), do you know how I can fix this?

Thank you
Best regards

Dear Ciaran,

Is it possible to change background colors of social icons, footer and copyright sections? I would like to use my prefered hex codes.
Thanks a lot.
