Hi Paul

To amend try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters (Extensions -> Templates -> [YourTemplateStyle] -> Custom CSS)....

(edit to taste)

.maincontent {

    padding-top: 20px;

    padding-bottom: 20px;

}
