Sophia template adding home page menu id to the end of other component url links

I just migrated my site to Joomla 4. I installed the Sophia template for Joomla 4 (I was using the Sophia template for Joomla 3 as well). I have found two links on my site append my home page menu id to the end. One is the Hikashop Account Profile link and the other is a Joomdle Enroll into Course button. When I switch my template over to Cassiopeia these two buttons/links work fine but with the Sophia template, the buttons/links go to my home page because the home page menu id is added to the end of the links for both of these.

How to fix this?

Ok. I don't think it's the template when it appends the home page menu id to the end of the two links. But one thing that the Sophia template is doing is that when a user tries to use the Enroll into Course button from the component Joomdle, it should open the course in a wrapper with Joomla. The Sophia template doesn't open it in a wrapper and just goes to my home page, but the Cassiopeia template does open the link in a wrapper within Joomla even though it does also add the home page menu id to the end of the url. So it seems like it works fine with Cassiopeia but not with the Sophia template.
