How can I place an image together with text in the logo similar to this site here: http://www.bavard.tv/ ?

For this site a single image was used with the text placed within the image (http://www.bavard.tv/templates/j51_horizon/images/logo.png).

Hi Ciaran,
Thank you for your reply. So I guess that if I want text and and an image in the logo at the same time, I'll need to create a logo with text with an image in an image editor first. Is that right?

Yes this is correct. For best results ensure to set the background of your image transparent and preserving the transparency when exporting to PNG.
