Hello Ciaran,

Regarding the two latest templates you are offering, LONDON and Kodaline, can you please tell me whether the Snipcart module you have integrated requires any programming knowledge on my side? Or is it configurable in a similar way as the other modules of Joomla51, ie Carousel etc?

Thank you in advance!

Eri

Hi Eri

An override has been created and amended to open links from your SnipCart module in a new window.

Hello

This would require creating an override for the module and amending the link with target="_blank". If you are not familiar with module overrides, May I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will create the override for you. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.

Hello Ciaran,

Regarding the field Weight of the snipcart module which you amended in order to fill it in with a url that the button will follow, is it possible that when I click the button buy now in the following page a new window to open instead of the url opening on the same window of my site as the link is an external link?

Hi Eri

1. The button text appears to match that of the corresponding module settings field (Book Now).

2. Your buttons should be now linking correctly.

Hi Eri

We have created an override for your module allowing you to use the Weight field to enter a URL for the SnipCart item button.

Yes, the site is the gw-thegreekwineroutes.com but I do not understand what the problem is as the credentials I have given you is the ones I am logging in the site too.

Can you please retry and inform me accordingly in order to find an alternative way if the problem insists?

Hi Eri

Is this for gw-thegreekwineroutes.com? If so you have already allowed us access and I will make the needed changes. Note you will need to amend the issue of us been unable to amend your template.

Regarding the snipcart's button I have two questions:
1. When I set the Button text to Book Now instead of Buy now it seems that it does not change! Can you please advise?
2. Can I use the 'Buy Now' button in a way so as when clicked, to lead to certain urls per product instead of opening the cart?

Thank you in advance.

Kind regards,

Eri

Thank you Ciaran!

Could you also send me the mod_j51snipcart.zip with the amended files so as to be able to use it with Kodaline template I have downloaded, as well?

Thanks so much :)

...Is there a possibility the problem to be the browser? I noticed (but I'm not sure...) that with Firefox the module works ok but with Safari not..!

And if that' s the case then can you please advice how to overcome it?

Hello Ciaran,

Regarding 1 & 2 above, I followed what you suggested via e-mail:

"May I suggest adding your SnipCart module to a module position rather than within an article. This should resolve any responsive column issues."

...but the problem insists... I positioned the module in contentbottom-a but again the number of columns seems to "get confused" between desktop, mobile and tablet version!

Here's the link from the page with the snipcart: http://www.gw-thegreekwineroutes.com/en/snipcart

Can you please advise?

I have already sent you the credentials of my website at the joomla51 e-mail!

Thank you!

Best,

Eri

Hi Eri.

1./2. May I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will examine this issue further. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.

3. Sorry to say this option is not available with the Snipcart module.

Hello Ciaran,

1. Regarding the snipcart, something is wrong when I set the number of columns for Mobile Landscape and Portrait: I think that the Mob Portrait Columns number follows the number set for the Mobile Landscape Columns..it seems that the field Columns (Mob Portrait) does not make any changes! The same happens with the desktop version: I change the tab version number of columns and the desktop version number of columns changes as well. In general I think something is wrong with the number of columns fields of the module!

2. Also, in the tab version of the module, when the Buy Now button is clicked, the cart window does not pop up!

Can you please advise?

3. Additionally, in the snipcart module how can I add a cart icon on the top right corner page, i.e like the one show in the attachment, so as to show the number of products the cart has in it?

In order to check, the url of the site is the following: http://www.gw-thegreekwineroutes.com/en/snipcart

Thank you in advance for your kind help!
