Joomla 2.5, J51's Metropolis template, jQuery loaded.

All was fine for many months, but in late November, the slideshow suddenly stopped displaying correctly after I suspect some of the aftermarket extensions updated and the changes to the Google API occurred (which had to be cured with another extension modification.

The slideshow is still in the 'showcase' position, but only the navigation arrows are displaying, and the height is greatly reduced. I have tried disabling all the non-Joomla Project modules and plugins, but with no resolution.

Your advice is sought. http://www.alpost245.org is the site. Thank you.

Thank you

Disabling your appears to resolve the issue. It may be worth considering installing the 'jQuery Easy' Joomla plugin (http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/extension/core-enhancements/performance/jquery-easy). This is a great tool for working around any Javascript conflicts and ensuring only one copy of jQuery is loaded.

Thank you again for your quick support.

Google Calendaring, while so important to busy community organizations, will probably continue to be a PITA to the CMS community. They insist on a continuous churn to their APIs. I should have assumed the loss of the Slideshow could be traced to the 'annualized' Google change!
