Hi!
I updated the Skylar template up to version 1.1.8. As I use localized fonts, I had to update the fonts.php file. I deleted the loop and inserted the link to the CSS file, as recommended. But, when I checked the "Typography Styling" in the Template Style, the font list was unchanged and not showing my personalised fonts. Any suggestions?
Cheers, Torsten

Hi Ciaran,
yes. My initial request is solved. I can now include my own fonts, following your tutorial, and include them in the backend, by adding them to the googleFonts-array.

Hello Ciaran,
I have probably tripped myself up due to a lack of documentation. Sorry for the irritation I caused here.

I have created my own set of fonts for my site, which are not included in the Google fonts. I have included them as you described in the tutorials.

To make these fonts usable, I added them to the file "/templates/j51_XXX/elements/googlefonts.php" in $googleFonts-Array. For this, I added entries in the form:
$googleFonts['FONT-NAME GIVEN IN CSS FILE'] = 'FONT-NAME TO BE SHOWN';
In fact, I commented out the unused $googleFonts entries.
I hope I was able to clarify and conclude my point here. Maybe I could also help one or the other with the GoogleFont array knack.

Hi!

Sorry, maybe I confused you in my post before.

I localised the needed fonts, following the instructions here: https://joomla51.com/tutorials/template-customization/localize-web-fonts
After updating to version 1.1.8 of Skylar, I needed to repeat the last step of the instruction, meaning replacing the PHP loop with the link to the CSS file. What I did. But still, the fonts in the style area remain the same. Any thoughts?

Cheers, TD
