Hi,

I am quite new to joomla, so sorry if that is too basic.

I am trying to create a contact page the same way you created for resonate demo template ie, with single contact and a contact form. I managed to create a new contact on joomla, but i don't know how to display it. Could you help me ?

Just so I don't have to ask this in the future If I want to create a page with a login, how to include the login form ?

Last question. I created a lateral menu (http://www.ucmsaude.com.br). There is currently one item. It points to a single article. On this single article i have a link to an article. But when i click in this link, the content looks like the home page insteat the look of a single article. How to I change that ?

Thanks a lot,
Angela

Hi Angela

On creating a contact form may I suggest the following Siteground tutorial... http://www.siteground.com/tutorials/joomla/joomla-contact-us.htm

A login module can be created to display on the pages of your choice using the 'Menu Assignment' option within the login modules parameters. To create a login module navigate to Extensions -> Module Manager -> New -> Login.

A menu type is also available to link directly to a login form.

Hello

It appears a number of your modules are assigned to appear on this page. You can set which menu items each module will appear with using the 'Menu Assinments' tab in your modules parameters.

Hi Ciaran,

That is the thing, if i call that article with a menu item it works fine.

But if I add a link to this article inside another article, that it comes looking like the home page when i click on it. Because then it wont be associated o a menu so i can't control which modules will appear.

Do i have to create something like a hidden menu to be able to create links that don't normally come from a menu ?

Your best option may be to create a new 'hidden' menu for this article. Joomla will assign the modules applied to the original menu item rather than handling the link as a child of your first article.
