Ciaran,

I am using the Serenity template, and when the user goes from screen to screen the text appears in two or three positions before coming to rest in its correct place. I guess there is something going on in the javascript. Is there anything you can do to stop this unnecessary movement?

Look at the docs under Our services at the site listed below...

Thanks

Peter

Hi Peter

May I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will examine this issue further. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.

Hello

We are having an issue finding the source of this problem. Could you detail for us what was changed for the problem to occur? Had you just installed any modules (eg. Screen Reader options)? Does the issue resolve itself if you disable these modules?

Disabling screen reader had no impact. But disabling JCHOptimize eliminated most of the problem (but not entirely). I have left the site with it disabled. I believe that is the only change.

Ciaran - I have turned it off other websites, and the behavior has all but disappeared, so I conclude the issue is with the configuration of the JCH plugin. Unfortunately it is too complicated for me doh!

I am still getting the flashing with JCH turned off, it is not acceptable at the moment so what can I do?

Thanks
