I'm trying to create a main menu item with a 2-column dropdown (link CSS style in parent menu item = column-2). The submenu items appear OK but in a single column and Link Title Attributes appear only as tool tips, not as subtitles as shown in the demo.

This is the first time I've worked with the new-style menu.

Thank you for your help.

Hello

May I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will examine this issue further. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.

Thank you for fixing the columns on the menu dropdown. The subtitles are still not appearing. I like this template and want to use it again but don't want to have to ask you to come in and fix it on the admin side.

And a few more issues have popped up:

1. The buttons are displaying the background color, not the color set in the template. The hover color displays correctly. It happened first in a Search module in the Bottom1-b position. In the Search module the button seems to be positioned within the query box where keywords are entered. I put a Search module at the bottom of most of my J51 sites and they don't look like this. The second link below, to blissberry.com, shows the way I expected it to look.

2. I have set the Article options to show Navigation. I only have two articles in one category so far and they do not display the navigation in the proper order, no matter how I order the articles it stays the same. The Next and Previous links both appear on the left side of the page instead of the Next link being on the right side.

3. I had tried using a darker color for the bottom1 module background. On my other J51 sites when I do that the module titles and text show up in a light color, without my having to use utility classes or css. See the blissberry.com link below. I did have to use some css to make the text in the search query box white.

The admin login I set up for you is still active.

Thank you.

Ciarán, rather than have you waste any more time on this I tried making a fresh joomla installation and starting over. I even downloaded a fresh zip of the Scarlette template, although it supposedly hasn't been modified since before I started working with it. I put in enough articles and menu items to determine that I was having no issues with the main menu display or the navigation links. I'm going to continue building the site and perhaps I won't have any of the other problems.

I do appreciate your patience. Thank you.

Hi MJ

I have just updated the Scarlett template amending the issue with the multicolumns and sub titles. On your new installation ensure to redownload your template and install the template via your extensions manager to avail of this update.
