Hi there, hoping someone can help! I have installed Resonate but I'm unable to access the template's style edit page in Template Manager - I'm getting an 'Error occurred: 500 - internal server error' (screen shot attached). I can, however, access the template's master file and stylesheets. I have tried installing another template - Privilege - however the same thing is happening. The installation appeared successful with no error messages. The templates that came with the Joomla installation are fine. I'm using Joomla ver 2.5.22 and installed Resonate and Privilege ver 2.5. I have tried reloading the page (several times !), clearing the browser cache, clearing history, deleting cookies and using another browser without success.

Any suggestions? Have I missed something in the installation process? Thanks.

Hello

May I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will examine this issue further. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.

Thank you Louise

Sorry to say we are not familiar with this issue. We tried installing another non Joomla51 template and had the exact same issue which would indicate an issue with your server settings. Could I ask you to check the file permissions for your templates folder (../templates/j51_renovate) which should be set to 755.

Have you had this issue before on the same server?

Hi Ciaran.

File permission was already set to 755 and I have never encountered this problem on this server before. I'm pleased to say I appear to have resolved the problem by uninstalling the Resonate template, uninstalling Joomla ver 2.5.22, installing Joomla ver 3.1.1 and installing Resonate ver 3.x. I can now edit the template style! Everything seems to be fine so I can now get underway with developing the site.

Cheers, Louise
