resonate - sub menu

Hi Ciaran
I am trying to replicate the menu on your resonate demo - where you have a drop down menu the level 1 menu item does not go anywhere. ie if you hover over Template Features, the drop down menu appears and the menu title (Template Features) changes colour as if linked but when you click on it, it does not go anywhere. Only the sub menu is active. How did you do that ?

Please advise - thanks. Cannot find answer in any forums as cannot phrase the question accurately enough. Hope you can help - thanks.

Did you put your sub-menu items under the main menu items in the Menu Manager in your admin area of Joomla? Specify the parent item and it will create the sub-menu.

yes, I have no problem creating the sub-menu but when I do that I want the parent to not be connected to anything. Only the submenu to be active links and if you click on the parent, you don't go anywhere - if that makes sense.

Hi brynseion

For your parent menu item you can use a 'Text Separator'. To create navigate to Menus -> [Your Menu] -> New -> Text Separator.
