Hi
Just noticed that some presentation differences between browsers on my website which I am just about to launch - http://www.keepsakebooks.cswebmedia.co.uk.

Please see attached screenshots - firefox is perfect as is ie9. ie8 is missing some artwork on - line under strapline (keeping memories alive) is missing which leaves a huge gap and 'style-box' is missing too. I suspect most of my clients will be using this browser unfortunately.

ie7 displays a more major problem - hornav is missing as well as the items above which affect ie8.

Are these issues fixable? Pls advise - thanks a lot.....

Hi brynseion

These areas of the template use CSS3 to create the borders and gradiants. Unfortunately at present IE8 does not support CSS3 hence why they are displaying differently.

I see....so I am going to abandon the idea of optimising for ie7.

For ie8, happy to forego the style-box but really do not like the big white spaces left on my home page by the missing borders (between strapline and top of component / sidecol-a module and again between bottom of component / sidecol-a and 4 images in bottom-1a module position). I am only concerned with the home page and would probably not bother to try and amend if this was deeper into the site....

Ciaran, can I use the custom code box to get an exception for ie8 to ignore the gradient css and use a solid line border instead? I would be really grateful if you could help me with the code for this and willing to pay for your time. If this is not possible from your end, please could you identify the code I will need to change and I shall try and do it myself although CSS3 is not my strong point!!

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.....

May I suggest setting us up with temporary FTP access to your Joomla installations template folder and we'll do what I can for your module to appear correctly in IE8.
