Removing the word "Subcategories" from pages

I have pages with sub categories that lists the categories but right above the categories, the word "Subcategories" occurs in black. How can I remove the word "Subcategories" my site is http://www.lombaggi.com/newsite.

Also, the About hot button on the top is not working.

Have you since found a solution? We don't see the 'Subcategories' text and your 'About' menu item now appears to be working.

Hi

There are a few options out there, the best one that I use for Joomla 2.5 is to edit the language file, you need access to your cpanel and edit the file directly, by using the override method, future upgrades should not be a problem. At least until this is addressed.

Edit language/en-GB/en-GB.ini

find around line 195

JGLOBAL_SUBCATEGORIES=”Subcategories”

replace with

JGLOBAL_SUBCATEGORIES=””

Another way to achieve same result is to edit language\overrides\en-GB.override.ini

and add this line

JGLOBAL_SUBCATEGORIES=””
