I want to reduce the white space on the menu to the page http://www.ticmic.com so the menu is closer to the content

Sorry wrong URL, if you look at http://www.spa-uk.org, its the white space under the menu

Hello

Presuming I understand you correctly, to amend try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters (Extensions -> Templates -> [YourTemplateStyle] -> Custom CSS)....

.maincontent {

    padding-top: 10px;

}
