Question regarding Side Columns

Hi, having just purchased the J51-Arkadia template, I was wondering if it is possible to have all content except the header enclosed between the side columns? To be honest, I am a complete novice and I'm picking this up as I go along so please bear with me. As the template stands at the moment, the slideshow and modules Top-1B to Top-3F are situated above the side columns. I would like to move all this content down so they sit between the columns. Is this possible and if so, how do I go about changing the positions?

I would also like to change the Login position but cannot find where to do this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello

Considering the structure of the template the only module that can be moved with relative ease is the showcase module. To do so cut the following code from your templates index.php (../templates/j51_arkadia/index.php)..

<?php if ($this->countModules('showcase')) { ?>

<div id="container_slideshow" class="container"><div class="wrapper960">

<?php require( nexus.DS."php/layouts/slideshow.php"); ?>

</div></div>

<?php }?>

And paste in to your templates main.php (../templates/j51_arkadia/php/layouts/main.php) directly after the following..

<div id="content<?php echo $contentwidth; ?>" class="side_margins">

Have you considered using the contenttop-# and contentbottom-# module positions to place your content?
