Punctuation in menu item titles

I tried to add a menu item entitled "What's on", but received the message that it was the wrong form (the title box was selected, so it was a problem with the title. Are punctuation marks not allowed in titles? How can I get around this? I don't want to change the title.

Hello

To my knowledge there is now way of getting around this in Joomla. However I would suggest checking the Joomla forums for a more definitive answer.
