Hello,

I am currently migrating an old Joomla 1.5 site to Joomla 3.2.1. Now I wanted to install the Resonate template in the new Joomla 3.2.1 and encountered the following problem: I unpacked the download file and tried to install the zip-file for Joomla 3.x via Joomla Extension Manager.
The template could not be installed because the XML installation file was not found, although it is included in the zip-File. Then I tried to upload the file to the tmp-directory via FTP. It did not work, either. Now I tried to install the free Oxygen Template and encountered the same problem...
I didn't have problems installing a template from a different supplier, though.

I would be very grateful for some advice to solve the problem.

Here's some information on my system configuration.

Thank you very much in advance!

Regards, lissy1778

Hello

Please ensure you are using the correct install file for your Joomla version. If you have purchased your template since the Joomla release of Joomla 3.x your download should include a separate install file for it.

Hello Ciaran,

thanks for your reply.
Yes, I did use the installation file für Joomla 3.0, the XML setup file is included in the ZIP-file, but installation does not work. There's always the error message, that XML setup file could not be found in the install package...

What else could I try?

Hi Lissy

May I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will examine this issue further. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.

Hello Ciaran,
thank you for your efforts. I just came up with the solution. It was a problem with my webspace capacity. There just wasn't enough storage space left...
The template installation works fine, now.

When I try to Upload & Install Oxygene frre I get this response:
Warning
JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find XML setup file

Than I wanted to wrie the file name I downloaded from Your site and I saw:
J51_Oxygen_unzip1st. Yes, UNZIP 1 ST!!!!!!1

The template is realy nice so I spent time on Your forum... and now it works!!!!

Thanks.

P.S.
why you don't make one zip for Joomla! 2.5, and another file for the 3.0 version?
I saw this accidentaly, and today I don't work so I have some free time, but another day during the week... who knows.
