problem with mobile response - pianoforte 51 template

Hi...I am using the pianoforte 51 template in a joomla 3 website. It works fine apart from the responsive element....on a mobile the website doesn't fit at all...I have the responsive button on in the template. in joomla....google is also telling me that that my site is not mobile friendly. please could you help me with this...it actually works a lot better with the responsive button off, but i still get the 'not mobile friendly' message.

Hello

Does adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your template settings resolve the issue in any way?..

.wrapper960, #header {

    max-width: 980px;

    width: 100%;

}
