Hi,

I've just created a new page on our website: http://www.oxfordcitywalk.co.uk/index.php/oxford-showcases-welcome/showcase-nine

I'm having problems with the thumbnails. I've been careful with the naming of the images to make sure there are no spaces between characters, but for some reason it will only show the first four of the ten images that are in the media files. I can see that when images are uploaded to the media manager, Joomla automatically creates a thumbs folder. This folder only held four of the images, from the ten in the next level. I've tried uploading all of the images directly into the thumbs file, but I still can't get it to show all images. Just to check, I've unpublished the thumbnails and published the thumbnails from one of the other pages and they work OK.

I've attached a screenshot of the frontend of the site and a shot of the media gallery at the backend.

Can you help?

Best wishes,

David G

Problem solved!

I've simply renamed all of the images and now it works.

Hi,

I'm using this area to post a new thread, since the New Topics tab is returning a page 404 message.

One of our clients is reporting that on their version of IE8 they are seeing no images at all in the Autson Slideshow at the top of their page. All other page on the site are working correctly on their machine and I can't get my IE to recreate the problem when I switch it to IE8 mode. Even in quirks mode it looks fine on my PC. I have checked the naming of the images and there are not spaces between characters. Any ideas?

Hello

Would you have a URL to an example of this issue?

Hi Ciaran,

Here is the URL requested:

I'll email you with login details for the backend, if you need access.

We are unable recreate the issue in IE8. The slideshow appears to be working fine.

If you are able recreate this issue may I suggest removing each of the images from the slideshow one by one until it functions correctly. This way you can find the offending image if it is an image issue.
