Ciaran,

I think I am trying to perform a task that is not possible. I would like to make some of the module backgrounds transparent, so the page background shows through.. content on top. For example -

1) I have tried background-color: none (stays white)
2) I have tried background-color: transparent (stays white)
3) Tried background-color: #FFFFFF (white of course)
3) Tried background-color: red ( changes to red, making sure it works for every other color)
4) Tried to play with the opacity opacity: 0.5; filter: alpha(opacity=50) (only changes the font, not the background)

Here is the module example I've been testing
#slideshow_modules.block_holder

FYI: I'm reading where to accomplish this might be in the style sheet?

my site is currently unpublished. Thanks
a

Hi April

Hard for us to say for sure without a live example of your module. Presuming it is the showcase module position, this position should have a transparent background by default?

HI April

Sorry to say it is not possible to make individual module positions transparent with the exception of the showcase module position.

Hi April

Sorry to say by default that option is not available with our templates.
