dates are written in British English not American English, so the dates are correct. You can still use the template on J3 but not on J4

Thanks for responding.. But, OMG.. I am doing all of this work with this template and I won't be able to use it moving forward with J4? Can you tell us how many other templates will be obsolete with J4? I've purchased a few.

Also how long can we use J3? This is a bit traumatic to me considering I used Privilege to learn Joomla even with customization.

I need some good advice as how to move forward even with the extensions I have purchased -

all templates for J3 that are not adapted for J4 will break your site. As ciaran stated he is busy with making the templates suitable for J4 and that goes for any other template designer.
J3.10 will be supported for the coming 2 years, so be patient and enjoy your current template

First I understand and have researched about the functions of J4 and all of the particulars with J3. My question was posed to the developer. Further I never saw a post from Ciaran about him being busy updating templates. I assume that it will occur.

Where in my post did you read that I was trying to move towards J4. It was a question I had about my template... so not sure where you felt I was being impatient. the longer it takes for Joomla to work out the bugs, etc.. the better for me.

So please next time I'll wait to hear from the developer Ciaran when it comes to J51 templates. Oh and my dates look very American to me.

As the Privilege template has been discontinued, it may be some time before it is available for Joomla 4 and I will be unable to give an exact timeframe. We will first be converting all currently available templates before we move on to the discontinued items.

Does this mean I can't publish it because I still have a complete website I plan to publish.. but someone how there was an update that I installed. I don't plan on using J4 until I am forced to .. hopefully another year. thx
