Presence install - no parameters

I uploaded Presence (2.5 version) to my website that is currently using an earlier Joomla51 template (Reference) that is working fine. When I make Presence the default template, my website is blank. In Joomla Administration, when I go to Template Manager there are no parameters to choose. The only thing that is listed under "Paramaters" is this message: "The parameter file /templates/j51_presence/params.ini is unwritable!"

According to the Presence demo on the Joomla51 website, there should be many parameters to select from. Also, there is no params.ini file.

Am I missing some files or is there some other problem?

Hi David

Having looked at your site you appear to be using a non compatible version of Joomla (Joomla 1.5). At present our Presence template is only compatible with Joomla versions 1.6 and above.

Since Joomla 1.6 the params.ini is no longer used in Joomla templates.

Thanks Ciaran - you are correct. I thought that I had updated it already. I'll install the Joomla update and try it again.
