I'm building a new site using the template piano forte and for some reason the main menu links don't work.

The site is here: http://192.185.146.100/~petrapat/

The articles are there and the menus are linked to them.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Any suggestions?

Hello

It appears to be an SEF URL issue. Try disabling SEF URLs via your Global Configuration. If you are using a 3rd party extension for your SEF URLs try disabling that.

I've read several articles about that, but nothing I do seems to resolve it. I've tried every combination of the SEO in the global config. When I switch to other templates I don't have the problem.

When I switched back to the PianoForte template, now things are working. I have SEF URLs turned back on, but it is not kicking in. The menus are working now, but it sure would be nice to have SEF URLs too.

Hello

This wouldn't be a template related issue. May I suggest the following articles which may help you in setting up your SEF URLs...

http://docs.joomla.org/Search_Engine_Friendly_URLs
http://docs.joomla.org/Enabling_Search_Engine_Friendly_%28SEF%29_URLs
