PHP 5.4 and ThumbsGallery issue

Hi, the host of my server just updated to php 5.4. Now I get this error message on the pages using the ThumbsGallery:

Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /home/pizolimm/www/rietcenter/modules/mod_j51thumbsgallery/helper.php on line 24



I managed to ged rid of it reducing the php alert level. But of course wont to avoid the error at first hand.
Is there an update planed to fix this?

dear Ciaran,

i installed your dropbox version of ThumbsGallery25 mentioned above.
Unfortunately i still get the error:

Creating default object from empty value in .../joomla/modules/mod_j51thumbsgallery/helper.php on line 25

using Joomla 2.5.24 on php5.4.4-14+deb7u14

any idea!
