Hi there, I'm posting this in desperation I'm having an issue with trying to put share to facebook button on my site. The button displays and the share dialogue opens and displays fine - although I would prefer a thumbnail image). The problem, though is that the post appears in facebook without the article image - it uses a random icon and enlarges it so that it's so pixelated its unrecognizable. The facebook debugger comes up with the following errors:
Warnings That Should Be Fixed
Inferred Property The 'og:url' property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.
Inferred Property The 'og:title' property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.
Inferred Property The 'og:description' property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.
Inferred Property The 'og:image' property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.
However, the post with image posts fine from the actual facebook debugger share dialogue. This leads me to assume that the issue is on my site. I've spent two days trying to resolve this with no luck. It occurred to me that perhaps it was a template issue, and you might know if others have had a similar problem.
Like I say, I'm desperate, and trying every possible cause.
Thanks,
Jude
