Hello,

I build a multilingual side using the Oxygen template under Joomla 3.1.1. And here it is.
During the tests on different browsers it transpires that there were no problems with Opera, Chrome and Firefox under Mac OS 10.6.8. Even so no problems under Windows 7 and the Internet Explorer.

But than came Safari. Tested under Mac OS 10.6.8.

All caches cleared and the side related cookies deleted it starts perfect. The German version is standard and every hornav menu item shows the right article.
Then I changed the language to English.
Everything seem to be right.

Changing back to the German version the hornav menu item "Englische Publikationen" results in a 404 - Category not found. Back to homepage results in the English version.

Looking at the backend of the side all links between menus and articles are ok - as the others browsers prove.

So I started searching in Safari.

The only thing that helps is to block all cookies.

But that's not a solution for me, because cookies were needed during the ongoing process and I don't want to except all Safari users.

I don't know how to go on and may be I am wrong here with this problem.

So, please can you help me?

Kind regards

Hi Ulrich

Would you have a URL to an example of this issue? To ensure that the issue is template related have you tried testing on one of the default Joomla templates (beez)?

Hello Ciarán,

thank you for answer.

For an example take a look here.

On the other hand it's a very good idea to use one of the default templates to ensure that the issue is template related.

I will give a try and report here.

Hi Ulrich

May I also suggest to try and disable your SEF URLs via your Global Configuration and see if that makes any difference.

Hi Ciarán

Thank you for this suggestion.

I will try it as fast as I can.

The other test with one of the default templates is still waiting for me.

Oh god, am I late?
