Hello,

I'm a simple beginner with building websites - so please excuse me and my question.

I've got the Oxygen 51 template, running under Joomla 3.1.1 and want to realize a multilingual version (DE and UK).

Everything is fine when running the menu in the modulposition sidecol-a

as you can see it here.

But that's not what I want.

The aim is to work with the Hornav Menu.

Everything I've tried (remember I'm a simple beginner) failed.

So please, can you help me?

Kind regards

Hello

One solution would be to create a new template style for each language..

In your Template Manager. Click on styles. You will see all the styles currently in your joomla installation. Select the Template style example 'Oxygen - Default' style and duplicate it for each language you want. Example: one style for English and another style for German. In each of the styles then select the default language you want for that style. Now select the menu in the style for that particular language.

Alternatively may I suggest the following post which details how to convert the top menu area to a module position. Post is for our Avenue template but will also apply to both our Oxygen and Presence templates. This will allow you to set up your multiple menus as normal.

Hello Ciarán,

and thank you very much for your answer.

I tried the second suggestion and it works.

Kind regards
