Ok this is a stretch.

My customer just asked me to change the whole flipping site

In essence what she wants is everywhere the background is white to be a medium to dark grey and then of course all the text would have to change to a lighter colour. This would include the side menus. Is this easy or is it going to be a pain in the backside.

Hi Chuck

Unfortunately it wouldn't really be an option with this template as it would involve changes across almost every content element of the design. The closest template we have available similar to our Oxygen template but light on dark would be our Nocturne template (http://demo.joomla51.com/?theme=Nocturne).

Hi Ciaran;

I have a thought that might fix my problem

Is there a way in css to change the font color and the background color in the area where the articles are displayed and in the left side column.

Doing these two areas only would give me the effect I am looking.

The ability to make that background colour somewhat translucent would be an added bonus.

Sorry to be so much trouble with all these issues but you help has been amazing.

Hi Chuck

To change the default body font colour try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters..


[code type=css]body {color:#FFFFFF;}[/code]

Where #FFFFFF is your new default colour.

Unfortunately as the background to our Oxygen template is image based it is not possible to change via CSS.

That helps. May I ask where is the image in question. Maybe I can use that to help me out.
