when i want to create an override of the module mod_j51imagehover template Layla
The override don't work.

I have created my override in this folder joomla/templates/j51_layla/html/mod_j51imagehover
And i modify this file default.php

In the advanced parameters of this module i control the layout type. It's ok.

When i modify directly in this folder joomla/module/mod_j51imagehover/tmpl the file default.php it's ok.
But i want an override of this module ...

For test if a rename default.php to default-.php in this native module folder joomla/module/mod_j51imagehover/tmpl the module don't work.
And the override is not use.

It's strange.
