Not loading Icomoon fonts

Hello Ciaran

My apologies if this is a core Joomla problem and nothing to do with the Letterpress template I'm using at Barnlake.com. There does not seem to be much referring to this on the general Joomla fora since about 2016. The problem is not browser specific.

The icons in my backend don't display properly. See Control panel screenshot.

My reading so far suggests that the Icomoon fonts are not loading properly. See browser console screenshot Joomla Backend. There are several Icomoon files under media/jui/fonts and an Icomoon.css file in media/jui/css

Can you help please or should I return to the general Joomla fora?

Hi Mike

This looks like it could be an issue with your server setup, where your Joomla installation does not have complete access to all files and folders. I would be unable to suggest a solution however you may get more information if you navigate to System -> System Information -> Folder Permissions.

I've checked your suggestion and everything is writeable except configuration.php which, I believe, is security issue. I may have a tweak later.
