ok I will give it a try.
This is related to Joomla 2.5.11.
Basically there are two ways to realize the multilinguality with the template:
1.)
Work with a separate template for each language.
Therefore you have to copy the template and save it under an other name. In the backend go to the extension-manager/templates. Look for your template/details and files and click on it. On the upcoming screen (right side down) you will find "Copy template" under a new name. If you have done this you've got two templates. One for each language. The next point is linking the language related items (categories, menus etc.) to the specific template.
2.)
Bring the hornav menu in modul mode
This is described in this
article in this forum.
Single step description:
As Ciarán wrote for the j51_avenue template:
To change this menu to a module position open up your templates header.php (../templates/j51_avenue/php/layouts/header.php) and replace the following (line 65)...
<div id="hornav">
<?php echo $hornav; ?>
</div>
With...
<div id="hornav">
<jdoc:include type="modules" name="hornav" />
</div>
This will convert the area to a module position. You will find the position to still not be listed in the positions dropdown in your modules parameters however this field is editable and you can simply type in the position name (hornav). Also remember to add moomenu to the modules Menu Tag ID.

ok, ich werde es versuchen.
Ich beziehe mich hier auf Joomla 2.5.11.
Grundsätzlich gibt es zwei Wege die Mehrsprachigkeit mit einem Template zu realisieren.
1.) Mit einem separaten Template für jede Sprache
Hierfür muss das Template kopiert werden und unter einem anderen Namen gespeichert werden.
Gehe bitte im backend (Administrationsbereich) unter Erweiterungen/Templates. Klicke dort dein Template (Details und Dateien) an. Im sich öffnenden Fenster (rechts unten) findest du "Template kopieren...Neuer Template Name". Wenn du das gemacht hast, hat du zwei Templates. Für jede Sprache kannst du jetzt eines benutzen. Unter dem Punkt Template Stile kannst du nun die unterschiedlichen Menüpunkte den speziellen Templates zuordnen.
2.)
Das Hornav menue als Modulposition verfügbar machen
Das wird in diesem Forum in diesem
Artikel beschrieben.

Das konvertiert diesen Bereich zu einer Modulposition. Diese Modulposition wird nicht in der Positionsauswahlliste bei den Modulen angezeigt. Wie auch immer das Feld ist editierbar und der Positionsname (hornav) kann direkt eingetragen werden. Bitte nicht vergessen "moonmenu" als Modul Menu Tag ID einzutragen.
