Is there a way to modify the Search Results page? I would like to remove the showcase and top modules in the results page.

Thanks again

Hello

By default with Joomla the results pages will load the same modules as the page where the search was made. You could try the following post which appears to detail how to assign a template style to your results page... http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?f=619&;t=706324

You can then hide the module areas of the template using the Custom CSS field within in this template styles parameters..

Example...

#container_slideshow {display:none;}

Hi Ciarán,

I've read that post, but I don't see a Search module in this template anywhere. I only see some plugins.

Thanks,
Clara

Hi Clara

By default the search field is built in to the template and is controlled from within the templates parameters. To convert this field to a module position try replacing the following in your templates header.php (../templates/j51_nocturne/php/layouts/header.php)..

	<?php if($search_onoff == "1") : ?>
<div id="search">
<?php echo $search; ?>
</div>
<?php endif; ?>

With..

<div id="search">
<jdoc:include type="modules" name="search" />
</div>

That worked, although I had to keep the top code in as well for the search field to show up.

Thanks again
