Why is it not possible to edit the flex gallery in the frontend?

There are errors when inserting new entries

If I add one or two times new entries then arbitrary entries and repeats arise

The error only occurs in the frontend
In the backend everything is in order

I have already tested that in the original demo installation (chelsea) with the same error.

is it not possible to use edit form flex gallery in frontend??

i need help please !

thx

Hello

Sorry to say we are unable to replicate this issue. Could you detail for me the error message you are getting? Are you getting this error with any other module?

Hello

I suspect this issue could be related to the following Joomla issue... https://github.com/joomla/joomla-cms/issues/12006

A PR has been created to fix this issue (https://github.com/joomla/joomla-cms/issues/12006) which should hopefully be merged for the next Joomla update. In the mean time you can test the PR using the patch tester. For more details check out.. https://docs.joomla.org/Testing_Joomla!_patches

Hi Ciarán,

do I understand this in the right manner ? I need to edit this code line in the modul.php ??? And the next update I have to do then again?
What do you think with which update this change will be considered?

Thank you, Greetings Urlchecker

Hello

Your best option would be to install the patch tester to your site. You can then apply that patch to your site which will automatically make the required changes.

You can keep an I on the PR (https://github.com/joomla/joomla-cms/pull/12007). Once 'Open' (green) changes to 'Merged' (purple) you can expect to see it in the next Joomla update.
