Hello Ciaran,

Can you please check and tell me why the news module is not working in the following url?

https://www.eriswebstudio.gr/syrki/

I have also sent you the credentials to login to the admistration of the site to fix it at info@joomla51.com.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Kind regards,

Eri

Hi Eri

Is the issue present if you use one of the Joomla News modules? If yes, this would indicate an issue with your articles (expired, dont have access etc.)

Hello Ciaran,

The articles are fine (not expired or without access etc.) and the module I use - with the problem - is the J51_News module.

Please see in the backend of the site the parameterization of the module no 219 which I have placed at the Top 3a homepage position.

I have also tried to use it (see module no 220) at the following url https://www.eriswebstudio.gr/syrki/enemerose/nea-anakoinoseis (as an embeded module inside article no 16) but the problem insists.

Please advise!

Thanks again for you help.

Best regards,

Eri

I have the same error and with the same template since yesterday.
cms.magie-und-genuss.de/
I installed the components individually, first a Joomla version, then the template and the j51 extensions.

UPDATE: I install the news modul from the jasmin template - now it works.

Also having Nina News module issues on https://classicsagainstcancer.com/

It displays ok but I have asked it to show featured articles or show newest and I've yet to get it to work correctly. This isn't my first rodeo using News modules but it is the first time I've not been able to get it to work correctly.

Thanks for any help Ciaran

Hello again Ciaran,

I downloaded again the Nina template and used it in another site and the problem with the J51 News modules is again there.

I have sent you via email the credentials of the new site to have a look and please fix it.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi Eri

I notice you had a module for your Journal page however there was no position assigned to it. I have assigned the top-1a position and it appears to be now displaying without issue.

Thank you Ciaran! Now it seems that there is another problem..

When I set the Carousel option and 1 Columns to be shown it seems that the module "does not listen".

Take a look for example at J51_News module no 218 (titled Latest Journal Articles)...displayed at sidecolumn 2a at the following url https://www.eriswebstudio.gr/gwnew/collaborate..

Thanks again

Eri
