Thank you very much Ciaran, Now it work fine.
I assume that the J51_ThumbsGallery changes/updates will be integrated in a possible next version of the module/template package and will not be overwritten, right?

Thank you for the access.

I am not entirely sure why however I have changed the folder of your gallery and it appears to be now working correctly. A guess is a possible access issue with the banners folder.

Dear Ciaran,

I have installed the update again. (I think I had already installed the same update). Unfortunately, it does not solve my problem. You can see this for yourself under the URL https://womostellplatzelche.astrid-guenther.de/ in the footer positions. Should/can I send you access data again?

Hi Astrid

My apologies, I was looking at the original query of this post which I just realised was not created by you.

Try installing the attached update and see if this resolves the issue. Also, ensure you do not have any overrides for the thumbs gallery module.

Dear Ciaran,

thank you for your answer.
I do not see where I put the original query "the slideshow does not seem to move to the second slide".

My problem is the J51_ThumbsGallery. I startet a post here: https://joomla51.com/forum/j51-thumbsgallery-in-nina-for-joomla-4
An answer in this post leads me to this branch.

I habe installed this fix: https://joomla51.com/forum/j4-thumbs-gallery-not-working-correctly-nina-template?start=20#reply-40321
But this does not solve the problems on the page, for what I sent you the login.

Kind regards
Astrid

Hello

Maybe I misunderstand but your original query was...

2. the slideshow does not seem to move to the second slide

Is this correct? It is for this query that we mention the 'General Settings'.

Dear Ciaran.
I'm sorry to have to ask again. But: I don't understand which general settings you mean. My problem is not with the slideshow , but with the J51_ThumbsGallery.

Hi Astrid

1. THis issue appears to be resolved with the update.

2. I have set up an example slideshow and it appears to autoplay transitions without any issues. Ensure to enable this option via the General Settings tab.

Hello

1. To amend try installing the attached update to the THumbsGallery module.

2. May I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will examine this issue further. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.

Dear Ciaran,

I have installed the update from https://www.joomla51.com/forum/j4-thumbs-gallery-not-working-correctly-nina-template?start=20#reply-40324 . Now I do not see an error any more. But the gallery is still not shown for me.
I tried it with this modules in the attachements.
This is the url of the test page, where I only see the titles of the modules: https://womostellplatzelche.astrid-guenther.de/

Hi Ciaran.
I think I got carried away a bit too fast.
I installed the update and then was able to access the existing module (the one from the Demo Installer), or "create" a new one...but...it actually doesn't show on the site. I can have the name of the module, but that is it, no gallery, no thumbnails, just like GF (message above). :(

Good morning Ciaran,

I have installed the J51_ThumbsGallery update and now I can set the module. So no more error.

Unfortunately the gallery doesn't show. I see only the module's name but no thumbs. It seem that it doesn't create the thumbs...

Any thoughts?

Hello Ciaran, hello Damien,

I have the same error with J51_thumbsgallery in Nina in J4.

Where do I find the update that you mention?

Best regards,
Geert

Hello

Unfortunately, we are still having little luck in replicating this issue however I am pretty sure the following update should resolve the issue as it bypasses the offending field type.

Hi Ciaran.

As of curiosity, I downloaded the files and datebase of the site where thumbsgallery has an issue and install it locally (Wampserver) and thumbsgallery...works.
I am using exactly the same files/database.

Probably nothing to do with it, but for the site where thumbgallery doesnt work, I have a "warning" in Joomla.
"The PHP temporary folder is not set."
