Hi Thierry

To update Joomla itself, may I suggest the following article.. https://docs.joomla.org/Joomla_3.x_to_4.x_Step_by_Step_Migration

To you have updated Joomla, you can then update your template/modules by installing the Joomla 4 version of each via your Extensions Manager. If any errors appear in the frontend modules after updating, simply open the module settings and save to update the database settings for each.

If you have subscribed to the Joomla 3 version of the template, you can use the coupon J4NINA3843 to available of a 50% discount on the Joomla 4 version of the template available here.. https://www.joomla51.com/joomla-4-templates/j51-nina-j4

Hello

May I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will examine this issue further. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.

Thank you Thierry

Looking into this and the issue does not appear to be related to the template. The same issue is present if we enable the default Joomla template. I notice you have quite a lot of plugins installed. Is it possible that some of these plugins are not Joomla 4 compatible? Have you tried disabling all 3rd party plugins and to see if this resolves the issue?

Hello

My mistake, I hadn't realised you have cache enabled. I have re-installed your template and it appears to be now working without issue.

thank you Ciaran
test.visiomaths is a copy of visiomaths
test.visiomaths is not in production but visiomaths yes !
I need to understand the problem before updating visiomaths to j4 with nina 4
I had also reinstalled nina 4 without success.
How did you do ?

HI Thierry

In this case it seems that some overrides were not been removed during the template update. Before updating your template, remove the ../templates/[YourTemplate/html folder and everything should then work without issue.

Hi Thierry

Yes that is the one! If you have created your own overrides then I would suggest simply renaming the folder as a backup (eg html-bak).
