News Module - Can I set an individual link? (Nina Template).

I like the News Module. It's a pity, I can only link them with category posts. Is it possible to set an individual link in the news module (including intro image)? Just as it works in the Imaghover Module? Other possibility: I use the imagehover module: Can I display the title and text directly at the Imagehover Module, before the Mouseover effect?

Sorry to say this option is not available with the News module.

Would you have a URL to an example of your ImageHover module?

Hi Ciaran

In Image Hover Module, it would be great if I could view the text (title and caption) before moving over the picture. So I could present the events directly with date and information.
Further: Could I place the text with line break in Image Hover?

Hi Reto

To amend try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters (Extensions -> Templates -> [YourTemplateStyle] -> Custom CSS)....

.j51imagehover * {

    opacity: 1 !important;

}


This may not work for all effects however it should be apparent which one it works for.

For the line breaks you would need to create a module override, if you are not familiar with creating overrides, may I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will create the override for you. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.
